Vintage PETER STOKKEBYE, DE LUXE TOBACCO BLEND DANISH pipe tobacco, in sealed tin. 50 GR NET WT. Lid and canister are fully-coated with an unusual frosted or metal flake looking finish. No health warnings, bar code, etc. ... 1990s?

On top of lid: "MADE IN DENMARK",

Decal on canister bottom reads:

Appears to be unopened. Both the lid and bottom are still depressed, and zero inside movement is detected, so this is believed to remain factory sealed.

Tin was very well kept, but the surface finish has CRAZED into tiny little segments (only visible when looked at in certain light), with one or two pieces flaking off. One notable area of oxidation on the underside, smaller spots next to it on the lid edge, and spread out elsewhere underneath, but zero can cracking, etc. Minor shelf wear with some minimal scratching or rub at the contact points. One little dent on the underside, near the edge.

This has always been maintained in a dry, temperature controlled home, but the exterior has been exposed to pipe tobacco smoke.
