Each blend is crafted by hand and features rare 25-year-old Virginias sourced specifically for this project. Collectively, these blends represent the combined palates of SPC founder Sykes Wilford and C&D's head blender Jeremy Reeves, offering two distinct interpretations of Virginia-forward profiles — each situated at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum.
XXV Reserve: Dusk is rich and potent — thanks to the addition of 31 Farms Perique, Dark-Fired Kentucky, and darker Virginia grades — perfect for enjoyment with a wee dram at the day's end.
The XXV Reserve: Dawn is a straight Virginia flake with bright highlights and a naturally sweet, bready character, perfect for enjoyment with a morning brew.
