Description
As featured in my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG8ibeSVB1s
This is a rare, unopened 1950s factory case of Philip Morris Revelation Smoking Mixture, containing 12 sealed 1.25 oz pocket tins, unopened and preserved in their original cardboard store display box.
Revelation was introduced in the early 1930s and rose to national acclaim by the mid-century as “The Perfect Pipe Tobacco.” A harmonious blend of Old Carolina, Choice Burley, Costly Latakia, Rich Perique, and Sunny Virginia, it delivers a mellow, fragrant, and complex smoke without bite. This was pipe tobacco designed for the thinker—and it found its way into the pocket of none other than Albert Einstein.
Condition:
-12 factory-sealed tins, untouched since early 1950s
-Stored in a climate-controlled private collection
-Cardboard outer case intact with minor period wear
- Tins show excellent aging and patina
-Ideal for investment, display, or extremely rare smoking
This is more than vintage tobacco—it's a preserved cultural artifact of mid-century Americana, rarely seen in this complete and original condition.
Thanks for your consideration—and swell smokes always.
