Vintage Mac Baren, GOLDEN EXTRA - READY RUBBED - EXTRA MILD pipe tobacco, sealed tin. NET WT. 3 1/2 OZ. Post "Mac Baren's" logo, but with fully painted lid, no warnings or bar code, etc. ... likely 1990s.
On lid edge: "MADE IN DENMARK"
... and: "IMPORTED BY: FABER, COE & GREGG, INC - 9 ENTIN ROAD, CLIFTON, N.J. 07014"
Appears to be unused. Both the lid and bottom are still depressed, and zero inside movement is detected, so this is believed to remain factory sealed.
Tin was very well kept, minimal oxidation on the underside rub-points only, and a bit on the canister sides, zero cracking, etc. Minor shelf wear with some light scratching on the lid, and rub at the contact points. A few small dents around the underside perimeter, one looks like from a drop.
This has always been maintained in a dry, temperature controlled home, but the exterior has been exposed to pipe tobacco smoke.
