This small-batch straight (red) Virginia has a sweet, tangy, and earthy flavor profile. It has been described as having notes of dried cranberries, malt, wood, and sourdough. It is characterized by high natural sugar content, producing a, mellow, sometimes woody or bready taste with slight spice.

Red Virginia tobacco is known to age incredibly well, typically displaying rich notes of stewed fruits, figs, raisin, molasses and earthy tones.

But what is Carolina Red Flake like after 10 years? There are only 2400 people around the world that could possibly answer that question and most of them likely enjoyed their tins long ago!
