(Ended) Dunhill Three-Year Matured Virginia (out-of-production) & Standard Mixture Medium

Two aged tins of Dunhill pipe tobaccos (pre-Peterson) purchased in 2024 in pipe shops. Kept in a climate-controlled environment after purchase.

The Three-Year Matured Virginia is likely from the later re-release but is now out of production.

The backs of tins are shown if you want to try to determine the exact production date from the product codes. Both tins had supposedly been on the shelf at the tobacconist for a while.

Standard Mixture Medium is a wonderful example of the British Latakia blend. So many great blends from England are made with the combination of Virginia, Orientals, and Latakia.

Three Year Matured Virginia is a blend of Red and other premium Virginias, combined with a slight hint of Turkish and given a light topping. The tobaccos are matured for three years, before being packaged up ready for shipment.
