McClelland’s 2017 batch of Christmas cheer was *exceptional*.

It was hand blended and aged in pressed cakes to develop a natural mellowness. The 2017 blend was a straight, broken-flake red Virginia tobacco made from a 2013 crop grown in North Carolina. The tasting notes of this blend featured, notes of dark fruit, earth, toast, and citrus. Compared to its 2016 cousin, the flavor profile was noted as having a rich, dark and deep flavor. It was also known for burning exceptionally well and for aging with distinction.
