Rare 2022 Give Me Liberty. In this plug, the toastiness of the red Virginias is elevated and brightened by the stoved Virginias, and the tang of the darker leaf is mellowed by the reds. The resulting smoke is not overly sweet but has real Virginia flavor, with more depth than you would normally expect. The plug is firmly pressed but is easy to pull apart and separate into ribbons. With a gentle cadence, you can get an incredible amount of flavor from the blend without some of the "sting" you might usually figure to encounter with an all-Virginia tobacco.
