Cornell & Diehl Small Batch: Steamworks (2023) is a limited-run, complex Virginia/Oriental broken flake released in late 2023. It features six unique, matured Virginia grades (ranging from bright to mahogany) blended with 2005 heirloom Black Sea Sokhoum Oriental leaf and St. James Perique. The blend uses a specialized, proprietary steaming process to produce notes of dark molasses, earth, and spice. This tin is dated 080223, sealed and in perfect condition.
