Three sealed 50g tins acquired in 2016, cellared together since. Never available through US retail channels.
The centerpiece: Samuel Gawith Brown Sugar Flake from the first release of the blend — acquired directly from The Danish Pipe Shop in August 2016 in its original pre-EU directive label, before European tobacco regulations forced the redesign. The Mogens Thomsen Odense tax stamp is intact. This is the version that introduced the blend to the world.
Alongside it: Germain's Special Latakia Flake (670101) and Germain's Brown Flake (655081) — sourced from a community group buy organized through an online pipe collecting community in the same era. German federal tobacco tax stamps intact on both tins.
All three cellared undisturbed since 2016 in a climate-controlled wine cellar as part of the 99-tin, 20+ lb La Clave Collection. Sealed. Perfect condition. Zero rust.
