Description

This is the legendary Mc Baren’s Navy, Flake from an era and with Tobacco‘s most folks simply never get to experience.

Fireside Industries Inc. was a historic US pipe tobacco and cigar distributor best known for importing and distributing Danish-made Mac Baren pipe tobaccos from the late 1960s to 1979.
Later Years (Moonachie, NJ): In September 1970, the company was renamed Fireside Industries Inc. and relocated its headquarters to Moonachie, New Jersey The company officially ceased its role as the primary US importer and distributor for Mac Baren around 1979.
That would make this tin of Tobacco somewhere between 1970 and 1979, a rare gem, indeed.
The tin is in very good condition. The seal appears to be intact, but with this kind of vintage and age on the Tobacco, I suspect a little hydration would go a long way. Enjoy the journey and good smoking.

Carefully selected Burley, Virginia and the original Mac Baren Cavendish have been pressed and stored for weeks before being cut into slices. The pressing process ensures a slow burning tobacco.
Notes: Introduced in 1965. According to Mac Baren
