In celebration of Smokingpipes' 25th Anniversary, Cornell & Diehl delivers two premium pipe tobaccos — XXV Reserve: Dawn and XXV Reserve: Dusk. Each blend is crafted by hand and features rare 25-year-old Virginias sourced specifically for this project. Collectively, these blends represent the combined palates of SPC founder Sykes Wilford and C&D's head blender Jeremy Reeves, offering two distinct interpretations of Virginia-forward profiles — each situated at opposite ends of the flavor spectrum.
XXV Reserve: Dawn:
Crafted in honor of Smokingpipes' 25th Anniversary, XXV Reserve Dawn is a flake-cut blend composed entirely of our finest Virginia grades, including a special 25-year-old varietal rich in natural sugar and deep notes of molasses.
The XXV Reserve: Dawn is a straight Virginia flake with bright highlights and a naturally sweet, bready character, perfect for enjoyment with a morning brew.
XXV Reserve: Dusk:
Crafted in honor of Smokingpipes' 25th Annversary, XXV Reserve: Dusk is a full-bodied, flake-cut blend of 25-year old Red Virginia tobaccos elevated by mature Dark-Fired Kentucky, genuine St. James Perique, and zesty Bright flue-cured leaf - naturally sweet with notes of dark stone fruits and woody spice.
XXV Reserve: Dusk is rich and potent — thanks to the addition of 31 Farms Perique, Dark-Fired Kentucky, and darker Virginia grades — perfect for enjoyment with a wee dram at the day's end.
