The Flavor Notes
Primary Note: Smoky and Woody. The Cyprian Latakia delivers a rich base of campfire smoke, leather, and subtle peat.Supporting Note: Sweet and Sour Orientals. High-quality Yenidje, Basma, and Izmir tobaccos add a unique, buttery, exotic incense-like aroma with a distinct herbal and floral dry finish.
Background Note: Tangy Citrus. Bright yellow Virginias from the US and Bulgaria inject a crisp, grassy sweetness that rounds out the blend's heavier components.
The Finish: Spicy and Peppery. An 8% addition of Perique contributes a touch of deep plum, raisin, and a peppery retrohale.
Room Note
Aroma Profile: Pungent and Earthy. Because of the prominent Latakia and Perique, the room note is generally described as "tolerable" to non-smokers, smelling strongly of heavy woodsmoke.
