Each package contains a full, uncut tobacco rope and retains its original Motzek packaging and German tobacco tax stamp. Strang Curly was a distinctive German rope tobacco made from a combination of Virginia, darker leaf, and Perique-style components. It developed a strong following among pipe smokers and became particularly sought after after the original version disappeared from production.
