Description
Up for auction is a Time capsule piece of tobaccoriana: an unopened, factory full 1.5oz pocket tin
of Prince Albert Crimp Cut Pipe and Cigarette tobacco. This is a highly sought after estate find that has remained entirely intact and unpried for decades.
This specific tin is an R.J. Reynolds tobacco company production (Winston -Salem,NC) dating from the late 1970s to the mid 1980s. It features the pristine UPC side panel code and a crisp factory stamp on the bottom, making it a ideal piece for serious brand collectors or vintage cellaring enthusiast.
Pictures of fully visible original interior paper "Pipe Offer"liner is pristine and perfectly nestled under the lid.
Sales status is 100% unopened factory compression lid has not been forced, pried, or peeled back. The inner wrapper is exactly as it left the factory.
The iconic red color and portrait of Prince Albert remain incredibly vibrant with excellent gloss. Minor, honest paint nicks along the rim from storage.
The metal condition displays a light authentic vintage patina with minor surface oxidation on the exposed top and bottom metal panels adding true historic character without compromising the structural integrity of the can.
Disclaimer: even though there is a very rich aroma to the tobacco this item is sold strictly as a factory sealed vintage collectable.
