Forget the Esoterica bags ... how often do you see THIS???

Vintage McClelland Tobacco Company - MIXTURE NO. 8, in BULGING sealed tin.

Net Weight 4 OZ (113.4 GRAMS).

Ink stamping "89390" means it was packaged in 1989 or 1990 ... aged 36 years in the sealed tin!

"Virginias * Orientals * Tobaccos For The Pipe"

"Manufactured by
McClelland Tobacco Company
Kansas City, Missouri
U.S.A."

Gold emblem reads:
"MIXTURE NO. 8.
An extremely refined
medium mixture, its soft,
round flavor due to the
fully-rubbed matured red
cake tobaccos forming
its base. Lightly sweet
smooth and rich, a
truly mellow
smoke."

Tin was very well kept, with only the tiny hints of oxidation on the base perimeter. Although it still feels pliable and holds very well, the PLASTIC LID HAS CRACKED. Minimal shelf wear with just a few light mars on the label, if any, and virtually zero rub at the contact points. A few teeny tiny little bulge-dings on the underside ... found on ALL of these old tins, so firmly believed to be a manufacturing effect.

LID AND BOTTOM ARE BULGING FROM BEAUTIFUL AGE EXPANSION!
