Sealed 50g tin of Ashton PebbleCut from 1999, purchased in 2003 (see photos), with 24 years of aging.

This blend offers a smooth VaPer experience with the Orientals subtly in the background. Its complexity keeps you engaged throughout the bowl. The large broken flake form allows for the fold and stuff method, but rubbing it out is preferred for an easy, brisk smoke with no bite and plenty of flavor.

The blend features selected red mottled leaf from Carolina, small Oriental leaves from Macedonia for a piquant aroma, and bright nut-flavored broad leaf from Virginia, all merging to form a savory and ever-changing concert of flavors.

A quantity of pure Louisiana Perique is added to enhance the blend's richness. The blend is hard pressed using hydraulic pressure, reminiscent of the old maritime method, then cut, stove, and packed, resulting in a tobacco that brings back long-forgotten flavors in today's mass-produced substitutes.
