Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) explains a seller’s shipping obligations, in addition to any obligations outlined in the Marketplace Terms, Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy.

  1. Shipping Your Items

Sellers are responsible for shipping their sold items to buyers. Sellers are ultimately responsible for making sure that buyers receive their orders.

By selling on TinBids.com, you agree to:

  1. Provide an accurate “ships from” address.
  2. Specify your shipping costs and processing times in your listings.
  3. Ship items promptly after they are sold. Prompt shipping means that you ship each item within 7 days of purchase, unless you specify otherwise in your processing time or agree to a different shipping period with the buyer. Before you update your processing time for a specific order, you must first obtain your buyer’s consent.
  4. Comply with all local and international shipping and customs regulations, including the prohibitions on shipping tobacco products to Washington, South Dakota, Maine, Utah, Arkansas, and Vermont and the prohibitions on shipping tobacco paraphernalia to Maine and Vermont.
  5. Ship to the address listed on the shipping label provided by TinBids.
  6. Use the shipping label provided by TinBids so that the item will be marked in our database. If using the provided label is not possible, contact TinBids support and request that a shipping label be sent to you. The use of your own label will cause a delay in your earnings being released to you. For international shipping, the label provided by TinBids MUST be used without exception. When an order is marked as shipped, the buyer will receive a notification.
  7. Ship to International buyers who have won your item. International labels are provided by TinBids
  8. Charge an appropriate amount for shipping.
  9. Provide tracking information to the buyer.

In the unlikely event an order does not arrive, be prepared to provide valid proof of shipping. Valid proof of shipping must show that the item actually was shipped and that it was sent to the address provided on TinBids.com.

International Shipping Information

Please note, the shipping rate displayed is for domestic U.S. Shipping only.  International Shipping rates vary by country and will be determined at the conclusion of the auction.  If you have questions regarding shipping rates before you place a bid, please contact us at support@tinbids.com and we will provide you with an approximate cost.

If you reside in China, a custom shipping label will be required due to certain U.S. Postal Service restrictions. This label will be sent to the seller of the item listed, complete with customs declaration.  The current First Class shipping rate to China is $17.40 USD for a 227 gram package and $27.40 USD up to 1.8 Kilograms. Small Flat Rate International Priority is $40.00 USD.

International Shipping Policy

By purchasing and requesting shipment to an international destination, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, import restrictions, customs requirements, duties, taxes, and fees applicable in your destination country.

Our default international shipping methods are GlobalPost or USPS International, unless otherwise specified. Once your order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, all transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery are the responsibility of the shipping carrier and the destination country’s customs authorities.

The buyer assumes all risk associated with international shipments. We are not liable for any items that are lost, delayed, damaged, misdelivered, seized, confiscated, abandoned, returned, refused by customs, or otherwise affected during international transit or import processing.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Customs inspections, import restrictions, carrier delays, weather events, labor disruptions, and other circumstances beyond our control may result in extended transit times or non-delivery. We make no representations or warranties regarding delivery dates, customs clearance, or the outcome of inspections by customs or other government agencies.

Any claims relating to shipping delays, customs actions, carrier performance, import restrictions, or delivery issues must be addressed directly with the applicable shipping carrier or customs authority, subject to their policies and claim procedures. Any carrier reimbursement or insurance claims are subject solely to the carrier’s terms, limitations, and maximum liability.

By placing an international order, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase complies with all laws and import regulations in your country.
  • You assume all risks associated with international shipping.
  • You release and hold harmless our company from any liability arising from loss, damage, delay, seizure, confiscation, customs actions, or any other shipping-related issue occurring after your package has been accepted by the carrier.

We strongly recommend that international buyers use a reputable U.S.-based freight forwarding service whenever possible. Many international customers have found freight forwarding services to provide greater flexibility, enhanced tracking, and more reliable delivery than direct international shipping. The decision to use a freight forwarder is solely the buyer’s responsibility, and we encourage customers to evaluate this option before placing an order.
