Description
Up for bid is my last aged, airtight Three Nuns tin I am willing to part with.
The original Three Nuns produced by J.&F. Bell, Glasgow, delivered a strong, balanced, and very complex smoke. It burned cool & clean with a consistent, deeply rich sweetness.
The flavor profile was natural prune, rum with anise notes. The strength & taste surpass the medium level. This blend was known for requiring patience and attentiveness when smoked. This blend will turn on you if puffed too hard!
Fast forward, the bright Virginias have darkened, softened, and melded with the St. James Perique. Another good sign is there is very little âshakeâ in the tin.
Carefully cellared for decades this bulging tin of Three Nuns will deliver velvet-like smoothness, deep matured fruit, breadiness, and faint spice. This tin cannot be replicated today in taste, quality, and manufacture.
The bottom of the tin states this tin was supplied to Her Majestyâs Forces for the United Kingdom (UK). A rarity.
My hope is this special tin will find a wonderful home whether you choose a timeless smoke or admire it like I have for decades. I will pack this tin with care to its new owner.
