Description

Butera's Royal Vintage, Latakia No. 1 Smoking Tobacco, Butera Pipe Company, Houston, Texas 50g - Sealed Tin. Made in U.S.A. 1994 date stamp on underside.

"A hardy mixture with generous amounts of mountain grade Cyprian Latakia, blended with ample portions of Turkish Basma. Bright North Carolina and rich, red, flue-cured Virginias complete the blend to insure its smooth finish. Each tobacco is aged in cakes to develop its individual zest and taste characteristics before cut, spun, and blended into ribbon form. Latakia No. 1 is well-suited for those who enjoy the rich, mellow flavors and robust, spicy aromas expected from a very special English-style Oriental mixture."

Tin was very well kept, with zero oxidation, rust, cracking, etc. Lid is still crisp and pliable. Minimal shelf wear with a few TINY little dings in the bottom.

This has always been maintained in a dry, temperature controlled home, but the exterior has been exposed to pipe tobacco smoke.
