Description

Vintage AMPHORA Pipe Tobacco - CESARE BORGIA SELECT (2000s?) 50 g (1.76 OZ) - Sealed Tin. By Douwe Egberts Royal Factories UTRECHT HOLLAND

    "Cesare Borgia
The man of self-discriminating tastes will appreciate this rare blend of choice American and Oriental leaves, enriched with double-fermented Virginia tobaccos. You can expect this smoking experience to be delicately aromatic, smooth burning and flavourful.

This a bar code, but no web address, etc. The rectangle container and lid are fully coated with a rich, DARK blue, anodized-looking, but painted finish. There is a faded, hand-written "3.69" underneath, presumably the original price.

Appears to be unused. Both the lid and bottom are still depressed, and minimal inside movement is detected, so this is believed to remain factory sealed.

Tin was very well kept, with zero oxidation, rust, cracking, etc. Minimal shelf wear with light scratching and rub at the contact points. MAYBE a couple TINY dings.

This has always been maintained in a dry, temperature controlled home, but the exterior has been exposed to pipe tobacco smoke.
