Gold emblem reads:
"MIXTURE NO. 8
An extremely refined medium mixture, its soft round flavor due to the fully-rubbed matured red cake tobaccos forming its base. Lightly sweet, smooth and rich, a truly mellow smoke."

Tin was very well kept, with zero oxidation, cracking, etc. Although it still feels pliable, the PLASTIC LID HAS CRACKED. Minimal shelf wear with just a few light mars on the label, if any, and virtually zero rub at the contact points. A few teeny tiny little bulge-dings on the underside ... no idea.

LID AND BOTTOM ARE BULGING VERY SLIGHTLY FROM BEAUTIFUL AGE EXPANSION!

This has always been maintained in a dry, temperature controlled home, but the exterior has been exposed to pipe tobacco smoke.
