(Ended) VERY RARE- Freidman & Pease Winter's Tale 1999

Here is a dented- but intact -50g tin of Winter's tale, the 1999 holiday limited release by a true blending master, Gregory Pease. this was the final and limited release of the short lived (but beloved) collaboration between Greg Pease and Irwin Friedman about a year and a half before Greg started his better known GLPease tobacco brand. This was one of the blends that put Greg Pease on most people's radar as a master blender and the first time a tin of this has been available on tinbids (at least according to my searching)

the highly praised Winter's Tale is a special English style blend with a mix of black stoved and red Virginias with some smoky latakia and a touch of spicy perique - the result is magnificently complex with a rich and comforting depth - I can only imagine how 25+ years of age has improved this unique and hard to find limited release blend.

This is a rare tin and a nice find for the smoker and collector. Starting this off with a fair price with no reserve.
