Description
This is an extremely rare and historical tin of John Cotton's "Finest Smoking Tobacco" Nos. 1 & 2, Medium, 2 Oz. Made in Edinburgh Scotland, this tin is in exceptional shape for it's age. The tin has a remark under the Royal Warrant that reads, "to the late King George VI". King George's reign ended upon his passing in 1952, making this tin about 70 years old! The tin is sealed, with a slight bulge on the top, which is typical of tins of this age. Some small rust spots but nothing penetrating. A great, one of a kind tin for the collection!
