Rare… Of the American tobacco growing regions, one of the most famous is the Old Belt in North Carolina. This area produces some of the best and sweetest Virginias found anywhere. Cornell & Diehl Carolina Red Flake utilizes superb red/orange Virginias that have the rib removed and then are layered in the press to create a beautiful flake with notes of hay, grass, bread, and dried fruits. Each year's crop will be different, and this one is so special that they want to let the Virginias shine on their own, so there's no Perique in this one.
