C&D’s Wintertime Reserve is limited to those who purchase a new Peterson pipe during the holidays, creating seasonal blends that capture the spirit of the holidays and serve as an added treat to your new pipe. The themes change from season to season. This year's four blends reference Peterson's iconic Sherlock Holmes collection, each featuring artwork inspired by Larry Gosser's original Holmes sketches and corresponding to a specific Sherlock Holmes pipe shape.
Baskerville is a blend of Heirloom Dark Burley and Virginia varietals that are accented with a whisper of Latakia for a nice peaty profile with notes of jammy pit fruit and roasted nuts.
NOTE: interesting oddity…This tin is exactly how it came to me, and was erroneously date labeled 090722. The sticker and tin are in perfect condition, and do not show any signs of tampering. I’m stumped!
