Description

Vintage SAIL - LIGHT AROMATIC, DUTCH BLEND Pipe Tobacco, EXTRA MILD CAVENDISH (1980s?) in 12oz sealed, sort of umber or dark beachnut color tin.

    "SWEET AS A NUT"

"The mystique of the Orient is married with the bright clearness of Virginia. It results in a tasty blend that never offends and never tires. A few Latakia leaves are added.
It adds to the lasting charm of Sail light aromatic, a pipe tobacco for the connoisseur."

    "MADE IN HOLLAND BY
    ROYAL FACTORIES
    THEODORUS NIEMEYER LTD
    GRONINGEN
    makers of superior pipe tobaccos
    since 1919"

Tin was well kept, but the poor durability gold-tone lid has notable oxidation splatted throughout the surface, as well as some tucked in around the perimeter of the bottom side, which is otherwise still quite nice. Lid does not have movement, so it was NOT removed, but just like the GREEN Sail tin in our other listing, it is expected to reveal factory sealed product, within a beautiful, clean interior. Moisture level is of course, unknown. The sort of dark, beechnut can side still looks great, with only tiny blemishes visible up close. Light shelf-wear on the lid and bottom side.

Buyers of the same name and complete shipping address, paying for multiple won auctions in any 24-hour period (or more, at our discretion), will have their items safely packaged together into one COMBINED SHIPPING box. After we notify TinBids of any shipping labels that were not generated and supply them with the new box parameters, they will link the tracking, adjust shipping cost, and refund the overage.

Maintained in a temperature and moisture controlled, smoke frequented cellar.
