Vintage MAC BAREN'S - LATAKIA BLEND - STRAIGHT BROAD CUT pipe tobacco, in factory sealed, 2 oz. tin.
Early and original "MAC BAREN'S" logo, with fully painted lid, from the late 1970s to 1980s!
Handwritten "000" in sharpie on bottom ... meaning is unknown.
"HIGH CLASS SMOKING TOBACCO",
"LONG MATURED TO BRING OUT THIS SUPERIOR BLEND"
"NET WT. 2 OZ."
On lid edge: "MADE IN DENMARK" and "LATAKIA BLEND"
The distributor decal on the bottom reads:
"DISTRIBUTED IN THE U.S.A.
FABER, COE & GREGG, INC.
9 ENTIN ROAD, CLIFTON, N.J. 07014"
Appears to be unused. Both the lid and bottom are still depressed, and minimal inside movement is detected, so this is believed to remain factory sealed. Weighs a little under 124 grams, complete. Actual moisture level is unknown, of course.
Tin was very well kept, minimal oxidation in a few places. A few tiny scratches in the lid paint, mostly at the contact point. A few tiny dings in the lid and tin underside. No visible cracks, breaks, stress points, etc.
Buyers of the same name and complete shipping address, paying for multiple won auctions in any 24-hour period (or more, at our discretion), will have their items safely packaged together into one COMBINED SHIPPING box. After we notify TinBids of any shipping labels that were not generated and supply them with the new box parameters, they will link the tracking, adjust shipping cost, and refund the overage.
