A tribute to the Oriental-forward blends of yesteryear, Cornell & Diehl's Small Batch Palmetto Balkan is a blend featuring premium, matured Oriental leaf in the form of 2019 Basma, 2022 Prilep varietals, and top-tier 2013, 2019, and 2023 Carolina Red Virginias. The result is an elegantly balanced flavor profile rich in notes of wood smoke, berries, complementary spices, and a wine-like character, reminiscent of the cherished Syrian leaf that many fondly remember.
