Description

Vintage Murray’s Erinmore Special Blend round pipe tobacco tin, 100g / 3½ oz, made in Northern Ireland by Murray, Sons & Company Ltd., Belfast. Unusual red rather than yellow tin.

The tin has a bright red/orange Erinmore lid with the pineapple crest and “Fine Tobaccos Since 1810” mark. It also has an old German tobacco tax stamp / banderole marked “Tuxedo Hamburg” and DM 18,-, which adds a nice collector detail.

The tin has been opened and still contains the original inner paper, printed insert/lid liner, and old tobacco contents. Exterior shows age-related wear, scratches, oxidation, spotting, edge rust, and paper/tax-stamp wear as shown in the photos. The graphics are still very attractive and display well.

Sold as a collectible vintage tobacco tin. Please see photos for exact condition.

    Condition notes to include:

    Opened tin
    Original contents present
    Original inner paper present
German tax stamp present but worn/torn
Lid graphics have scratches, spotting, and oxidation
Rim and sides show rust/age wear
Good display piece for Erinmore, Murray’s, pipe tobacco, or vintage tin collectors
