St. James Flake is a sought-after Samuel Gawith classic, aged 16 years, resting in a jar in a dark cabinet the whole time. Purchased in bulk in June 2010 and jarred immediately, never opened, the tobacco is still in pristine condition as can be seen from the close-up photos and the sugar precipitating. There are 112 grams in the jar, the equivalent of 2.24 50g tins.
