Description
A La Clave Collection Offering.
Three sealed 2oz tins of Butera Pelican â English-Oriental, Traditional Ribbon Style Mixture â cellared together undisturbed as part of the 99-tin, 20+ lb La Clave Collection.
Three tins. Three batches. One bird.
Pelican (batch 402012) â Acquired 2014. From the first extremely limited release after a long absence from the market. Made by J.F. Germain & Son in Jersey, imported by Arango Cigar Co. The tins that collectors had been waiting years to see. This is one of them.
Pelican (batch 659082) â Acquired 2016. From the subsequent release â still scarce, still rationed, still the kind of tin that disappeared from shelves before most people knew it had arrived.
Pelican (batch 696032) â Acquired 2016. A second tin from the following release window, cellared alongside its companion from the moment it arrived. Nine years of rest together.
Made by J.F. Germain & Son in St. Helier, Jersey â founded in 1820, the same house responsible for Balkan Sobranie, Esoterica Penzance, and Stonehaven. One of the oldest family tobacco operations still working in the British Isles, producing in small batches by traditional methods, with leaf still arriving by sea.
Stored in a climate-controlled wine cellar as part of the 99-tin, 20+ lb La Clave Collection, resting together since acquisition.
Offered as a flight, with the true connoisseur in mind.
