“Our 221b Series honoring the pipe smoking Great Detective derives its name from Sherlock Holmes’ celebrated Baker Street Address. The first tin in the series was Black Shag. The second is Arcadia Mixture, his friend Watson’s favorite. It was a legendary blend said to be the inspriation of a nobleman. Clubs were formed by men devoted to it. Arcadia was said to be of such interesting and absorbing character that it could make the shiest of men a passing conversationalist and could quite the most offensively talkative. We at McClelland have enjoyed the challenge of deducing the formula of this singularly celebrated mixture and we hope you will enjoy the fruit of our effort.”

Ignore the hand written date on the bottom of the tin, that’s the date I acquired it. The tin is sealed and has always been stored in a climate and temperate controlled environment.
