A 2016 tin of Russ Ouellette's Perique Blend P-37, rounding out this trio of expertly composed Virginia/Perique blends. Sweet, ripe Virginias and characterful Louisiana Perique combine for a deep, fruity-sweet smoke with a lively peppery spice and excellent complexity. Several years in the cellar have softened and harmonized the blend into a wonderfully rounded, contemplative bowl.
