This tin is sealed and has never been opened. It’s sweet tangy and spicey. It’s rich, deep and earthy quality for a medium to full smoke. Our tribute to the Old Belt. Carolina Red Flake with Perique showcases two remarkable flue-cured grades — heirloom 2013 Virginian Reds and matured 2019 Georgian Red Orange leaf elevated by a generous portion of genuine St. James Perique. Balancing deep undertones of port wine and stone fruits with highlights of pepper, spice, and citrus, it's rich. deep, and complex. It's how a Virginia/Perique flake should be.
