Straight Virginia, done the classic way. Under the banner of the storied Fribourg & Treyer name — a London tobacconist dating to 1720 with royal appointments across Europe — Vintage Flake is a pure Virginia blend aged under pressure and cut into clean, well-formed flakes.

This is Virginia in its natural glory, with only the faintest whisper of casing. Bright and red flue-cured leaf brings sweet, citrusy top notes over a base of hay, lemongrass, and warm fresh-baked bread, deepening toward light honey and a touch of tingly spice as the bowl builds. It’s exceptionally well-mannered — rub it out fully or fold-and-stuff, either way it lights easily and burns cool, clean, and bite-free when you keep an easy cadence.
