Vintage 1970s Macdonald Export A Lights Cigarettes – 20 Count – Inner Foil Packs Intact

Export A Lights was introduced in 1976 as part of the emerging “light” cigarette market, making this an attractive late-1970s/early-1980s Canadian tobacciana collectible. This example was packaged for the United States market, as evidenced by the period U.S. Surgeon General health warning.

The packaging is particularly interesting: the outer cigarette box has been opened, revealing two separate gold-foil inner packages. Both inner foil packages appear to remain intact and unopened. The outer box displays the classic Macdonald Lassie trademark and gold Export “A” Lights graphics.

There is age-related wear, light discoloration, and handling to the outer package, along with creasing to one of the inner foil wrappers, all shown in the photographs. An embossed production or packaging code is visible on the side of the box.
