EDGEWORTH (1940s? - before Larus) READY-RUBBED "BLUE" Pipe Tobacco ~7 OZ. Sealed Key-Wind Tin

VERY old and rare tin of Edgeworth Ready-Rubbed, famous blue pattern, about 7 ounces (unmarked), still perfectly sealed, and BULGING out at the bottom, making the tin stand awkwardly because of the key that remains mounted underneath. This one is from before the Larus Bros. era (can't see the manufacturer hidden under a tax stamp seal remnant), and features a key-wind type opening lid.

Discoloration both top and bottom, but still solid and sealed. Lithograph? sides still look excellent, with just a few marks and blemishes.

Very nice and unique display piece as a whole, or ready to be cracked open and enjoyed!
