Description
Vintage Mac Baren, SYMPHONY Ready Rubbed pipe tobacco, sealed tin. NET WT. 3.5 OZ.
2018 date noted on underside.
On lid edge: "Made in Denmark by Mac Baren Tobacco Company"
On underside decal:
"Symphony 3.5 oz."
"A very harmonious Ready Rubbed tobacco cominated by the selected Burley tobaccos and with a minor part of virginia and the original Mac Baren Cavendish. In this blend the tobaccos are adjusted to bring out the slight natural sweetness with a tender note of chocolate - which is found in all excellent Burley tobaccos."
"Imported by Sutliff Tobacco Company Richmond VA 23224"
Appears to be unused. Both the lid and bottom are still depressed, and minimal inside movement is detected, so this is understood to remain factory sealed. Actual moisture level is unknown, of course.
Tin was very well kept, minimal oxidation on the underside rub-points only, zero cracking, etc. Minor shelf wear with some light scratching on the lid, and rub at the contact points. No dents, dings, cracks, stress points, holes, etc.
Very nice and unique display piece as a whole, or ready to be cracked open and enjoyed!
Buyers of the same name and complete shipping address, paying for multiple won auctions in any 24-hour period (or more, at our discretion), will have their items safely packaged together into one COMBINED SHIPPING box. After we notify TinBids of any shipping labels that were not generated, they will link the tracking, adjust shipping cost, and refund the overage.
Maintained in a temperature and moisture controlled, smoke frequented cellar.
