Description
Four Well-aged Tins from GL Pease, C&D and Samuel Gawith
This lot includes:
One 2 ounce tin of Cornell & Diehl’s Star of the East Flake tobacco, which is “one half Cyprian Latakia with a generous portion of Izmir and sweetened with stoved red Virginia.” The tin is bulging slightly and is dated November 2007.
One 2 ounce tin of G.L. Pease Westminster blend with Red Virginias enhanced with bright leaf, Orientals, and Cyprian Latakia. A great interpretation of the classic English blend. Tin is dated March 2010.
One 50 gram tin of Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader, a lighter English blend, acquired from Iwan Ries and cellared in 2012.
One 50 gram tin of Samuel Gawith Grouse-Moor, a “Mild & Aromatic” Lakeland blend, with Virginia tobaccos and floral and citrus flavoring in a ribbon cut. Cellared in 2013.
