Grown, harvested, cured, and barrel-aged all at 31 Farms — a single, family-owned farm in the heart of St. James Parish, Louisiana — C&D's authentic Perique contributes unparalleled richness and complexity, ranging from deep stone fruit notes to bold, piquant spice. This rare varietal — the rarest in the world, in fact — combines with several top-tier flue-cured grades, including Heirloom Red Virginia tips from 2013, aged ten years; matured Georgia-grown Red-Orange leaf from 2019; and Canadian Bright leaf from 2019, boasting an impressive sugar content of 28.5%. Together, these exquisite Virginia grades empower a kaleidoscope of complementary flavors, from baked goods and warming spices to brighter, citrusy highlights — all elevated by 31 Farms' Perique.
