Old Gowrie is a broken flake which embodies the classic English style in a unique way. Its intensity is due to the combination of dark Virginias, fired Kentucky and a hint of Perique. Three months of aging under high pressure gives this mixture an extra edge. It is then cut and hand rubbed, making this blend an absolute delicacy. I purchased this 100 gram tin in 2017 and have stored it indoors since new. Tin is unopened and in perfect condition.
