Description
This may very well be the last tin of Old Toby by McClelland in the wild. Old Toby was the First Ever NASPC Show Lord of The Rings Release (1998) by McClelland's (Only 100 Total Tins Made) was a Limited offering only available at the 1998 NASPC show. McClelland is now shut down. I have not seen another tin in about 10-15 years. This is a highly collectable and historic tin. Probably never see another one like it.
This is the "Unicorn" of the NASPC Show Blends as it was the first in the series and started the craze! This tin has Latakia, Oriental and Virginia contents that have been fermenting further for the last 26-years! Per tobaccoreviews.com: “”The finest example of home-grown Old Toby to be discovered outside the Shire. Carefully spiced with fragrant Longbottom Leaf and cask aged for a very long time. Fill your pipes and light up. And then for a little while we can present than we are all back safe at Bree again…” -Meriadoc Brandybuck Discovered in the McClelland factory and packed exclusively for the NASPC.
