EIGHTEEN TWENTY is a classic English Blend made by renowned J.F. Germain of the Isle of Jersey, Great Britain. This tin has aged and matured for 12-years, in cool, dark, climate-controlled storage. Named for the year of J.F. Germain's founding, though their tins say: "Established before 1820". It is not to be confused with Germain's "1820 FLAKE". This is a ribbon-cut blend of Latakias, Orientals, Turkish and Virginia Tobaccos. It contains less Latakia than most typical English Blends, and is often compared to Gawith's Skiff Mixture. Described by some reviewers at Pipe Tobacco Reviews as "smooth as a baby's bottom" and a "Germain Masterpiece". Perennially "out-of-stock" and "unavailable" as are most of Germain's offerings blended for Esoterica, Smokers' Haven and Balkan Sobranie. A Balanced Blend of Tobaccos that is not dominated by the qualities of a single leaf, made by the World's Leading Tobacco Blending House.
