Description
Here's an anchovy style tin of Bengal Slices made by AC Peterson sometime in the 90s.
A unique but classic English crumble cake style with plenty of cyprian latakia, select orientals and bright Virginias with just a touch of black cavendish and what I expect is a slight tonquin bean topping Bengal Slices is an iconic blend first developed by Smokers Haven in Columbus and popularized by the House of Sobranie. This AC Peterson version is nearly as good as the original- and almost as hard to find. Purchased in 2000, this 25+ year old tin has some slight surface rust but is intact and ready for your pipe or collection.
