Up for consideration is a 1 3/4 oz / 100 gr tin of the original Balkan Sobranie Smoking Mixture from the late 70s.
The tin shows the weight in grams, however the plastic tin cover is stamped in BOTH ounces and grams which would date it to my estimate, as would the address for distributor James B. Russell Inc. stamped on the cardboard disc located under the plastic cover.
At the bottom of the tin is āSobranie Limited, Sobranie House, London Englandā.ā
The tin is under pressure, maintaing its original seal.
No rattle of shake whatsover. and the tin top is convex due to the interior pressure.
