~ In 1940 an engineering marvel was built across the windy Tacoma Narrows on Puget Sound. The new bridge swayed so much that folks called her
"Galloping Gertie". While Gertie crashed into the Sound a few months later, Master Blender Joe Lankford never forgot her.
