Description

Vintage Comoy Blue Riband Pipe – Shape 185, Made in London. Circa 1950’s or 1960’s.

For sale is a beautifully preserved Comoy Blue Riband pipe, a classic piece that exudes both elegance and history. This vintage pipe is in gently used condition with no cracks, burnouts, or rim searing. Inside the chamber, there’s only a light carbonization, reflecting its careful use over time.

The original vulcanite stem is crisp and well-preserved, featuring a three-piece inlaid “C” and no discernible chatter. The pipe is stamped “Made in London” in a circle with “England” below the circle, along with the shape number 185.

Measuring about 5.5 inches in length, this pipe has a bowl depth of approximately 1.5 inches and a bowl diameter of about 1 inch at the opening. It features a lovely straight grain around the bowl and a beautiful birdseye pattern on the heel and bottom stem, making it as visually striking as it is functional.

This Comoy Blue Riband is a fantastic addition for any collector or enthusiast looking for a piece of pipe history with timeless style
